FAQ

Before you
get in touch.

N° 01

How is this different from booklets?

Booklets are marketing pieces - coated stocks, saddle-stitch led, catalogues and lookbooks. Handbooks and manuals are working documents: usually uncoated (often 80gsm), Wire-O or plastic comb, built to lie flat and get updated.

N° 02

What's the default paper?

80gsm uncoated for inners is the standard. We can step up to 100gsm uncoated, or use a heavier cover stock, if you need more durability.

N° 03

Can I update pages later?

Yes with plastic comb binding - pages can be added or swapped. Wire-O is more permanent but still lies flat. Tell us if the document needs to stay living.

N° 04

Do you do tabbed dividers?

Yes. Printed or colour tabs to match your section structure. Send us the section list with the artwork.

N° 05

When does perfect binding make sense?

Usually at higher volumes - around 100+ copies - when you want a softcover book feel rather than a working binder. For most manuals we recommend Wire-O or comb.

N° 06

How long does it take?

Most handbook and manual jobs are ready in 2-5 business days depending on page count, binding, and quantity. Rush work is available - call us with your deadline.
